About us

Crafting digital experiences since 2011.

The Dev Studio was founded in 2011 by Syed Shahzaib Ali. Today we're a team of ten designers, developers and content producers building websites, software and marketing for clients across the UK, Australia, New Zealand, Europe and North America.

We started as a two-person studio building websites for small businesses in Italy and the UK. In 2012 we became the dedicated development partner of TIO International — a dental and orthodontic marketing group in the UK and Australia — and have grown with them ever since, maintaining and migrating hundreds of practice websites, building patient relationship management integrations and virtual consultation products.

That long-term partnership shaped how we work: proactive, accountable, and obsessed with the details that make a site fast, findable and easy to run. We bring the same approach to every client, whether it’s a five-page brochure site or a bespoke SaaS platform.

We also give back: our free logo maker helps new businesses get started with a professional identity at no cost.

Honest and reliable

Clients describe us as reliable and honest. We say what we'll do, do it, and tell you early if something changes.

In-house, not outsourced

Every designer, developer and content producer is on our team, equipped with laptops, fast internet and medical benefits.

Diverse by design

A significant share of our team are women, bringing different perspectives and skills to every project.

Always reachable

Working hours overlap with Australia and the UK, with evening and weekend cover for urgent incidents.
