We have designed and maintained hundreds of dental and orthodontic practice websites since 2012, and the UAE market has its own habits. Patients research on their phones, late in the evening, comparing three or four clinics in Jumeirah or Business Bay at once. They decide on four things: can I trust these people, what will it cost, how fast can I get in, and can I just message them on WhatsApp.
What pages does a Dubai dental website need?
A homepage that says who you are in one sentence ("DHA-licensed dental and orthodontic clinic in Jumeirah, Dubai, since 2015") with reviews and a booking button above the fold. A page per treatment you want to be known for — Invisalign, implants, veneers, children's dentistry — each answering price, duration, discomfort and process in the first screen. A meet-the-team page with each doctor's licence title and speciality. A fees page or at least "from" prices. A contact page with the emirate in the address, a map, opening hours including Ramadan timings and a WhatsApp button. And an Arabic version of all of the above.
How should booking work?
WhatsApp first. A floating WhatsApp button on mobile with a pre-filled message ("Hi, I'd like to book a consultation for…") converts better than any form in this market. Back it with an online booking link or a short form that asks only for name, phone and treatment, feeding your practice management or PRM system so follow-up is automatic within minutes.
What does DHA allow in your copy?
Dubai Health Authority (and DoH in Abu Dhabi, MOHAP elsewhere) requires the facility licence to be displayed and permits for advertising promotions. Copy must stay factual: no "best dentist in Dubai", no guarantees, no "pain-free" promises, no discounts that are not permitted. Before/after photos need written consent. It is easier to write within these rules from the start than to rewrite after a warning.
How do you win the map pack?
Local SEO for clinics is mostly about consistency. A complete Google Business Profile in the right categories with real photos and weekly posts. Reviews that mention the treatment and the area ("Invisalign in Jumeirah"), answered by the clinic. Dentist schema on the site with addressCountry: "AE", geo coordinates and opening hours. The same name, address and phone on the site, the profile, insurance directories and Instagram. And a fast, mobile-first site — Core Web Vitals are a ranking factor and a conversion factor.
What about AI assistants?
Patients increasingly ask ChatGPT or Gemini for a clinic recommendation. Those answers come from the same signals: plain statements of who you are and where, prices on the page, FAQ sections marked up with schema, and an open robots.txt. Our AI SEO Checker and UAE Website Checker test both sides for free.
Frequently asked questions
- Should a Dubai dental website show prices?
- Yes, at least 'from' prices or ranges. Price is the top question patients ask, hiding it sends them to a competitor, and transparent pricing pages are the most-cited content in AI assistant answers about clinics.
- Do I need an Arabic version of my clinic website?
- Strongly recommended. Many patients and most government and insurance stakeholders expect it, and Arabic searches for treatments are largely uncontested.
- Can I use before and after photos on a UAE clinic website?
- Only with the patient's written consent and in line with your health authority's advertising rules; some promotions and imagery require a permit. Avoid implying guaranteed results.
- What is the most important page on a dental website?
- The treatment page for your most profitable service — usually Invisalign or implants — followed by the meet-the-team page. Both should answer price, duration, pain and process in the first screen and end with a WhatsApp or booking button.
